Sports Conditioning

coach stairsDo you ski or play hockey, golf or tennis? Do you have a young person in your household who is trying to become a better athlete? As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and as a USAW certified Olympic Weightlifting instructor, I have trained numerous athletes in almost every sport over the last 11 years. Whether you’re looking for more skill, size, mobility or strength, I can provide you with a strength and conditioning program to make you or your kids better athletes.

A good athletic program starts from evaluation. You need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. With those in hand, we can construct the perfect program for you that will help you skate faster, throw harder and hit the ball harder down the fairway. Don’t make the mistake of following a general fitness routine. Athletes need specialized programs to perform at peak capacity.

Even if you are a weekend warrior, getting an evaluation using a Functional Movement Screen (FMS)┬ácan give you an excellent overview of where your tightnesses lie, what areas of your body are out of balance, and what you need to work on to avoid injury. If you have any questions about the FMS or athletic conditioning, contact me at (416) 528-5463 or [email protected].
